What is US Renewables Siting?
US renewable-energy siting from USGS: the US Wind Turbine Database (every utility-scale turbine with location, capacity, manufacturer, hub height) and the US Large-Scale Solar PV Database (every ≥1 MW solar facility with AC/DC capacity, mounting type, and battery-storage flag). Search by state, project/facility name, manufacturer, minimum capacity, battery, or bounding box. Energy-transition siting and competitive intel for operators diversifying — additive to NREL (resource modeling) and EIA (plant-level capacity), since neither carries turbine-/array-level inventory. Free, no auth. Toggle on and use.
