International Energy Agency global statistics — energy balances, electricity by fuel, and CO2 emissions by country.

What is IEA Statistics?

International Energy Agency (IEA) statistics — global energy balances (total energy supply and final consumption by fuel), electricity generation by fuel, and CO2 emissions by sector and intensity, covering most countries and regions back to 1990. Query a single indicator (e.g. TESbySource, CO2BySector) filtered by country, product (fuel), flow, and year range. Note: country uses IEA codes (USA, CHINA, RUS) rather than full names, and this overlaps the existing EIA connector's international/CO2 coverage from a different source. Toggle on and use — no setup needed.

Available Tools

  • getIndicator
Fetch an IEA indicator filtered by country (IEA code), product, flow, and year range.
  • getServiceInfo
Known indicators, product codes, and country-code/full-series quirks.

Requirements

  • Toggle on
Toggle on and use — no setup needed.
