What is GSWA (Western Australia)?

Geological Survey of Western Australia (GSWA / DEMIRS) GeoSciML Spatial Data Infrastructure. Read live mineral tenements (owner, status, tenement type, grant and expiry dates) for lease-expiry acquisition signals in the world's premier lithium and critical-minerals jurisdiction; mineral occurrences with commodity codes (Au, Ag, Li, Ta, REE), deposit type, and resource tonnage; and National Virtual Core Library hyperspectral boreholes (operator, drilling method, length). Public OGC WFS 2.0 GeoServer, no credentials. Complements the petroleum-only wa-dmirs and South Australia's sarig.

Follow these steps to connect your AI agents to this connector

Review the connector card and copy your MCP URL.

Add the endpoint to Claude, ChatGPT, or your MCP client.

Call the gswa-geossdi MCP tool with method=searchMineralTenements.

Step 7: Create the Connector

Click “I understand and want to continue” checkbox → Press Create

Step 8: Using the Connector

Start a new chat → Click the + button (left of text box) → Open dropdown → Hover over three dots labeled “More” → Select your connector
